Another Away Game Tailgate is officially in the books, and this one was a sellout. Our Cowboys tailgate in NJ, at MetLife Stadium, reached capacity, with Dallas fans packing the tailgate before Sunday Night Football. In fact, we had Cowboys fans trying to sign up on Sunday morning, and unfortunately, we had to turn them away because we were already sold out.
That’s why we have one message for fans coming to MetLife Stadium: if you know you’re coming, sign up early.
That is especially true for Green Bay fans. Our Packers Tailgate at MetLife Stadium is up next on Sunday, September 20, and we don’t want Packers fans traveling to New Jersey to miss out because they waited until game day to reserve their spot.
Our Cowboys Tailgate Reached Capacity
One of the best parts of Away Game Tailgate is seeing how strongly visiting fans show up at MetLife Stadium. Cowboys fans did exactly that. We had a great crowd, but once we reached capacity, ticket sales had to close. The Cowboys fans that contacted us on Sunday looking to join the tailgate were told we simply couldn’t accommodate any more people.
We hate turning away visiting fans, but our capacity is based on making sure everyone who purchased a pass gets the experience they paid for. Once we’re full, we’re full. The lesson for future games is simple: don’t make your tailgate plans on game day.
Packers Fans Are Up Next at MetLife Stadium
Green Bay comes to MetLife Stadium to face the Jets on Sunday, September 20, with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 PM. Our Packers Tailgate at MetLife Stadium runs from 9:00 AM until 12:30 PM, giving fans plenty of time to enjoy the pregame before heading into the stadium.
