At Away Game Tailgate, community support is a core value—and that’s why we’re proud to share that Away Game Tailgate gives back to Bradley Beach first responders with Tailgate Night. Hosted at the Bradley Beach Firehouse, we donated a full tailgate-style dinner to the hardworking members of the Bradley Beach Fire Department and First Aid Squad as a small token of appreciation for their service to our hometown.
Held right at the Bradley Beach Firehouse, this event was all about showing appreciation to the dedicated men and women who protect and serve our town every day. These first responders work around the clock, often behind the scenes, to ensure the safety and well-being of our community. From responding to emergencies to supporting town events, their efforts never go unnoticed—and this time, it was our turn to take care of them.
We brought our signature Away Game Tailgate menu, featuring grilled favorites like burgers, hot dogs, and our crowd-pleasing sausage, peppers, and onions. The firehouse provided beverages, and our friends at Brooklyn Square Pizza generously donated delicious pizzas to round out the meal. The night was filled with great food, laughter, and community spirit.
It was extraordinary to see first responders relaxing with their families, enjoying a well-deserved break from their demanding responsibilities. We often see them in action—always prepared, always on call—so to watch them unwind, connect, and share a meal in a casual, festive setting was meaningful for everyone involved.
For us, this wasn’t just about burgers and hot dogs. It was about expressing gratitude to those who give so much without asking for anything in return. We’re proud to call Bradley Beach home, and events like this remind us why. It’s a tight-knit town full of people who care deeply about one another, and we’re honored to play even a small role in giving back to it.
